Slots Not A Problem For Lottery Revenues

A report from UMass Amherst says the only slot parlor in the state is not hurting lottery ticket sales.

It says an analysis of lottery revenue a year after the opening of the Plainridge Park Casino shows that on average, revenue hasn't dropped statewide or closer to the casino in Plainville.

However, the report cautions it's unclear what impact much larger casinos in Everett and Springfield will have when they open.
