Snow Concerns Turn To Wind

Concerns about snow today are being replaced with concerns about wind in western Massachusetts.

A winter storm warning that was in effect until tonight from the National Weather Service has been dropped with a wind advisory taking its place.

Gusts of up to 50 miles per hour are possible.

Some spots did pick up a few inches of snow yesterday, including up to five inches in some parts of Springfield, but conditions will fall far short of the originally predicted eight to twelve inches.

Meantime, as if we needed more snow, we are tracking another storm for Wednesday night into Thursday.  It is really too early to try to figure out what that will mean for us.  Forecasters say probably Tuesday we should get a better indication.
