It appears the search for a missing Duke University student from Franklin is coming to a sad ending.
A body believed to be that of 20-year-old Michael Doherty was recovered from the woods near Interstate 495 on Saturday.
The discovery was several days after Doherty went missing while walking home from a party in an early morning rainstorm.
Foul play is not suspected, but the cause of death remains under investigation.
