Mormon Church, Utah Senators Support Bakery In SCOTUS Case

The Mormon Church and most of Utah's GOP state senators are signaling their support for a Colorado bakery that refused to make a cake for a same-sex wedding.  The Church has joined other religious groups in signing on to a brief supporting the bakery as the case goes before the U.S. Supreme Court.  22 of Utah's 24 Republican state senators have also signed a similar brief in support of the bakery.

Both briefs urge the high court to protect the First Amendment rights of highly religious people who do not believe in same-sex marriage.
