The third recreational marijuana retail store in Massachusetts is opening on Saturday in Salem.
State regulators have given final approval to the Alternative Therapies Group to begin recreational pot sales. ATG already operates a medical pot dispensary at the company's downtown Salem site.
The first two recreational pot dispensaries opened three weeks ago in Leicester and Northampton, and both have been very busy.
Meantime, it is expected that after the Salem store opens, Easthampton will be about ready to open its pot shop. That could happen at anytime.
