The Springfield Police Department is continuing a crackdown on illegal bike-riding.
The SPD says a juvenile bicyclist will be issued a criminal complaint after allegedly spitting at a PVTA bus driver yesterday.
C-3 Metro officers reportedly detained five juvenile bicyclists and confiscated their bikes in connection to the incident.
This came a couple days after a 15-year-old bicyclist was injured on Main Street while performing stunts in the middle of the street, according to police.
