Two Men Arrested After Shooting At Police

Springfield Police have arrested two men and confiscated three guns after an incident Friday night, where one of the suspects fired his weapon at officers.

No one hit.

Police say they were called to Humbert Street during a gun investigation, tracked down the suspect car.  Officials say the car then slowed and one of the suspects fired his weapon at an unmarked police car.

A short time later, police were able to make the arrests of the two individuals around the Bay Street area.

Police are providing no other details other than at least one of the people inside of the car was wanted for a shooting incident in Vermont.
