Delegation Seeks More Funding For Local Migrant Issues

The state's Congressional delegation is calling for more federal support for migrant shelter and service programs.

They've expressed concern about a lack of funding for non-border states like Massachusetts that are experiencing a significant influx of migrants.

The delegation notes the state is providing shelter and other services to 75 hundred migrant families.

They said the situation has created a financial challenge to provide humanitarian aid.
