Partying The New Year In? Designated Driver Is The Right Road To Take

The Massachusetts Police Association and Mothers Against Drunk Driving have joined up to remind motorists to stay safe behind the wheel this holiday season.

Figures show the week between Christmas and New Year's has been a deadly one, with the most recent numbers showing fatal DUI crashes in 2021 increased 14 percent from the year before.

Authorities say those who plan to drink during holiday celebrations to use a designated driver or a ride-sharing service to get home safely.
