Chicopee Police Probe Overnight Shooting

Police in Chicopee are investigating a deadly shooting incident that occurred Thursday evening.

Officers were called to the 1296 Montgomery Street at around 6:15 pm.

The area was blocked off and a spokesman for the Hampden County D-A says one person was killed.

The investigation is ongoing.

More details are expected later today.
