Plans for a third casino in Connecticut that could compete with the new MGM casino in Springfield are in the works.
A public meeting was held in Windsor Locks Thursday night to hear about plans for the casino from the two Native American tribes that run the Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods establishments.
The tribes are looking at two possible locations in Windsor Locks as well as another in East Windsor.
No timetables for final decisions.
The Connecticut Legislature must sign off on the new facility.
