East Windsor selectmen are giving their approval to the possibility of a casino being sited in their town.
Selectmen voted Saturday to approve an agreement with the tribal operators of Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos.
The tribes are partnering in an effort to blunt the loss of jobs and revenue to an MGM Resorts casino being built in Springfield.
The proposed East Windsor casino site is the vacant former Showcase Cinemas off Interstate 91.
