Western Massachusetts is caught in a "grocery gap."
The Massachusetts Public Health Association released a map depicting areas where there are lower incomes and a lack of fully stocked and accessible grocery stores.
The most coverage is in the western part of the state, and the report indicates Springfield and Chicopee are among the top cities of concern.
