The Pioneer Valley Transit Authority is transitioning its leadership.
The PVTA's advisory board bid top administrator Mary MacInnes, who is retiring Friday after a decade on the job, farewell at a Wednesday meeting.
The board's chairman announced the pool of finalists to replace her has been whittled down to three candidates, including current chief financial officer Patricia O'Leary of Ludlow, Pioneer Valley Planning Commission transportation planner Dana Roscoe, and Greater Hartford Transit District grants director Sandra Sheehan.
MacInnes, who took over after a federal investigation into the alleged misuse of public funds, will be replaced in the interim by Carolyn Hart-Lucien, the PVTA's chief information officer.
