A teenager paralyzed by a hit-and-run driver in Agawam is suing his father for allegedly spending the money raised for his recovery.
Alex Scafuri has filed a civil suit against his dad and stepmom, accusing them of blowing through 100-thousand dollars raised for him through a number of charitable events.
The now-18-year-old wants a jury trial and is seeking financial damages. He was hit by a drunk driver in 2016.
