President Trump heads to Connecticut today for the first time since taking office in January.
Trump will be in New London to deliver the commencement address to cadets at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
A large number of protesters and supporters of the president are expected to be near the academy to greet Trump when he arrives.
Presidents rotate delivering the commencement speech at the service academies, with President Obama last addressing Coast Guard cadets in 2015.
