Boston is looking to address the growing problem of drug addicts loitering at Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard.
The city moved many social services to the area from Long Island a few years back.
The result has been many homeless drug addicts congregating in the neighborhood, which is often called the Methadone Mile.
City officials are planning to create a barracks like tent behind an area shelter to help steer the homeless into treatment.
