Parents: More Money Needed For UMass Tuition

Tuition and fees are expected to rise  at the University of Massachusetts in the upcoming school year.  UMass  

President Marty Meehan says the increase will likely be between two and  three percent.  

That's a discount compared to last year, when students  saw a tuition and fee increase of nearly six percent.  

Meehan says the  exact increase will not be finalized until the state budget process is  complete.
