The Massachusetts Senate is giving its approval to a bill making some small adjustments to the citizen-crafted marijuana law.
The bill is different from the House bill passed this week that makes major changes to the law.
The House bill calls for a 28-percent tax on retail marijuana sales, which is much higher than the twelve-percent tax in the law approved by voters last year.
A conference committee will now meet to work out the differences between the House and the Senate bills.
