A proposal to study a high-speed rail link between Springfield and Boston is getting dropped again.
State Senator Eric Lesser's proposal didn't make it to the final, 40-Billion-dollar state budget lawmakers on Beacon Hill sent to Governor Charlie Baker on Friday.
Baker vetoed Lesser's proposal last year after it did make it to the final budget.
Lesser recently went on a railroad tour to promote the study.
The Senator says he will refile the measure as a stand alone bill.
