Feud Between House And Senate Over Pot

The Legislature is continuing to  struggle with the rewrite of the voter crafted marijuana legalization  law.

Senate President Stanley Rosenberg yesterday called on the House  to join them in crafting the measure in a transparent way.

House  Speaker Robert DeLeo fired back that the House is working on a bill that  benefits state residents, not the interests of the marijuana industry.

Lawmakers voted in December to delay the opening of recreational  marijuana stores by six months to July of next year.
