Governor Charlie Baker is nominating men from Longmeadow and Wilbraham to fill two court vacancies.
Baker announced Wednesday that he wants current Superior Court Regional Administrative Justice Edward McDonough Junior for the position of Associate Justice of the Appeals Court, and also nominated private attorney Bruce Melikian for the position of Associate Justice on the District Courts in Western Massachusetts.
Judicial nominations are subject to the advice and consent of the Governor's Council.
