The liquor license of a controversial Springfield nightlife spot is being suspended.
The Springfield License Commission made that decision last night concerning the Kick Back Lounge, where two men died in a shooting last month.
The license won't be restored until several steps are taken, including new management and increased security.
Beyond the shootings, neighbors spoke at a hearing yesterday about a lower quality of life they say has been created by late-night problems at the club, which could lead to its entertainment license being revoked by Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno.
