The Massachusetts House and Senate have a compromise agreement to rewrite the voter crafted marijuana legalization law.
The deal calls for an increase in the maximum tax on marijuana from 12 percent under the voter law to 20 percent.
The rewritten law would still allow people over 21-years-old to grow, buy, possess and use limited amounts of pot.
A vote on the bill is expected this week.
