NFL Says Medical Pot May Be An Option For Players

The NFL could be having a change of  heart in how it handles marijuana.

According to "The Washington Post,"  the league has reached out to the NFLPA to possibly do a study to see  how medicinal marijuana could help players with pain management.

NFL  executive vice president of communications Joe Lockhart was quoted in  the story saying "We look forward to working with the Players  Association on all issues involving the health and safety of our  players."

The NFLPA has already been looking into the effectiveness of  marijuana to help with a variety of issues.
