The Springfield Rescue Mission is being forced to suspend food and clothing deliveries to those in need after someone vandalized a delivery van.
The program's executive director says the individual, a man who previously received services from the mission, damaged the gate to enter the parking lot, broke into the van, destroyed its steering column, and finally stole a security camera back on July 27th.
The Rescue Mission also used the van to transport low-income residents and the homeless to emergency services.
Officials say they've forwarded images of the suspect caught on a second security camera to Springfield police.
No word on when the van may be back on the road.
