A new report indicates University of Massachusetts students living off campus are more well-behaved than they used to be.
The school's Dean of Students Office says the number of students involved in off-campus incidents for the 2016-2017 academic year fell 33-percent, from 307 to 206.
The overall number of off-campus incidents also dropped.
School officials say they're delighted with the "clear reduction in off-campus violations" over a four-year trend and credit the school's program for mentoring students in responsible behavior.
