There is damage being assessed in Western Massachusetts after this weekend's storm, but thankfully no fatalities.
It could have been different, however, as there were two homes in Springfield that were impacted by a falling tree.
The incidents happened at a home on Hazen Street in the city's Sixteen Acres neighborhood, and at a house on Mohawk Drive.
There were no injuries reported, but the houses sustained major damage.
