The Pioneer Valley Transit Authority is investigating after a bus crashed into a retaining wall at the federal courthouse on Thursday.
Springfield police say the bus experienced a mechanical issue that caused it to roll forward without the driver behind the wheel and crash in the area of State and School Streets, at around three p.m.
Twenty-two students were on board the bus, and police say two were taken to Baystate Medical Center with minor injuries.
