A Springfield man is being sentenced to 11 to 12 years in state prison for beating another man to death with a table leg.
Richard Page pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter on Thursday in Hampden Superior Court, in connection to the death of Eric Stephenson at a residence on Armory Street in June 2016.
Page had initially faced murder chages, and his wife, Ivey Johnson, still faces a murder charge herself.
Prosecutors say Page believed Stephenson had assaulted his wife.
