A five-year, two-million-dollar grant is allowing for the expansion of services at the Franklin County Probate and Family Drug Court.
With the grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the specialty court will expand 300-percent to help parents, children and caregivers affected by the opioid crisis.
Congressmen Jim McGovern and Richard Neal, and other elected and community officials are expected at the Franklin County Justice Center for the official launch of the grant.
