They say every dog has its day, and in South Hadley, the owner of a dog deemed dangerous by the town is waiting to find out if that's true for her pet.
A hearing held on Wednesday in District Court after South Hadley officials appealed a previous ruling that Ziggy, a Saint Bernard, didn't have to be euthanized.
The attorney for owner April Marion argued town officials overstepped their bounds with the order and that no witness of the dog's alleged aggression had filed a formal complaint in South Hadley.
Judge Matthew Shea will make a decision on the appeal.
