Westfield State University is addressing the latest allegations of racism on the campus.
School president Ramon Torrecilha issued a letter to the community Indicating a racial and threatening note was slipped under a student's door in Scanlon Hall the previous evening.
Torrecilha said in a follow-up message that there will be an increased security presence through the end of the fall semester.
Hundreds of students and faculty held a walkout earlier last week in response to previous reports of hate crimes.
