Five people are facing charges in connection to an alleged drug ring in Franklin County.
The Northwestern District Attorney's Office says the group was involved in importing large quantities of oxycodone from China destined for sale in the county, through safe houses in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
According to a Franklin County grand jury indictment, Yvette and William Judd organized and controlled the operation from their homes in Greenfield and Vernon, Florida.
Prosecutors say as much as a half-kilogram of oxy per week has been distributed for the past two years through the ring.
