A shooting in Berkshire County is being investigated.
Police responded to a report of someone shooting inside a house and out of the window at a residence on Bailey Road in Lanesborough on Tuesday morning.
The road was shut down, and a member of the Massachusetts State Police crisis negotiating team was brought to the scene.
Officers reportedly entered the house after almost six hours of no contact with the person inside.
