Cause Sought For Deadly Barn Fire In Simsbury

At least two dozen horses  are dead following a barn fire at a farm in Simsbury.

The fire started  early yesterday morning at Folly Farm on Route 185, killing many horses used for their polo and riding school.

The structural damage to the building is minimal, and the loss of the horses is attributed to smoke inhalation.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
