A one-year-old girl is critically injured following a pit bull attack on Cape Cod.
Police say the child was injured inside a home on Brick Kiln Road in Falmouth yesterday morning.
The child's father was unable to separate her from the dog, and he ended up stabbing the animal to death to save the girl's life.
The girl was taken by helicopter to a Boston hospital with life threatening injuries.
