No Bail For Man Accused Of Killing Wife

The North Adams man who allegedly  bludgeoned and stabbed his wife to death is being held without bail.

Mark Steele-Knudslien entered a not guilty plea to murder charges in  Northern Berkshire District Court on Monday in connection to the death  of Christa Leigh Steele-Knudslien.

North Adams police reports indicate  Mark told officers he snapped after the couple got into an argument,  killed his wife, wrapped her body in a tarp, took a shower, and went to  liquor store before eventually turning himself in.

Christa was a  transgender woman and the organizer of the Miss Trans New England  Pageant.
