Governor Charlie Baker is commenting on the state Senate's ethics investigation into the conduct of former Senate president Stanley Rosenberg.
Multiple accusations were made last year against Rosenberg's husband, Bryon Hefner, accusing him of sexual assault or harassment.
Baker tells the "Boston Globe" he's concerned about reports that indicate witnesses might be afraid to testify because they fear their names will be revealed.
The "Globe" reported over the weekend that only one of the accusers has spoken to independent investigators.
