The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is working with MGM Springfield to establish a system that alerts players who have set gambling budgets.
The system will allow frequent customers to set voluntary budgets and receive alerts if they're approaching or have reached their limit.
The commission voted to work with MGM and Wynn Resorts in Boston on the collaborative effort.
Gaming Commission Chairman Stephen Crosby says the agency is committed to promoting responsible gaming.
