The number of flu-related deaths continues to rise in Connecticut. State public health officials say 20 more people died in the last week from the flu.
That brings the number of flu-related deaths in Connecticut to 97 since the season officially began last August, with two involving children.
Nearly two-thousand people have been hospitalized by the flu since August, with over six-thousand positive lab tests recorded.
