Computer Glitch Leads To False Letters

Correction letters have been sent out  after the RMV mistakenly told over nine thousand drivers that their  licenses would be suspended.

The Massachusetts Registry of Motor  Vehicles is blaming a glitch in their new computer system for the  error.

The letters sent out said licenses were being suspended for not  paying outstanding fees.  The mistake was found April 12th and the  corrections were sent out within 24 hours.
