A Chinese student is suing the University of Massachusetts for an alleged civil rights violation.
Zhaozhong Du, an architecture student, filed the complaint in Hampshire Superior Court last month, also naming two deans.
The lawsuit alleges Du was unable to properly communicate with college officials after he was suspended for an incident earlier in the year and claims he should have been provided with an interpreter.
