Today is graduation day for University of Massachusetts seniors.
CNN's Jake Tapper will be the commencement speaker.
UMass is informing people who plan on attending that there will be metal detectors in place at the entrance to the Mullins Center and McGuirk Alumni Stadium, which is a first.
The ceremony is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
