Graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2018 were held for several institutions of higher learning in Western Massachusetts this weekend.
About six-hundred students graduated from Smith College and Mount Holyoke College each on Sunday, with Pulitzer Prize winner Rita Dove and U.S. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi serving as the respective commencement speakers.
Amherst College's Biddy Martin delivered remarks to nearly five-hundred graduates of that school.
Westfield State University, the College of Our Lady of the Elms, Western New England University, and Hampshire College all held their graduation exercises on Saturday.
