One of Massachusetts' most wanted criminals is in custody.
Daniel Escalante was a no show at a court trial for sexual assault charges and fled to Nevada in May.
He was extradited to Middlesex County this week to face five counts of child rape, four counts of assault and battery of a child and two additional rape charges.
Escalante is also accused of sexually assaulting three women in Marlborough and Hudson several years ago.
He's being held without bail until a hearing on Monday.
