State Suicide Rate Higher Than Country's

Suicide rates are on the rise in  Massachusetts.  

A new report from the CDC that suicide rates rose over  25-percent across the country, but in Massachusetts the increase was  over 35-percent.  

The study found firearms are the most common way  people choose to take their lives.  

Meantime, lawmakers are  trying to limit gun access for people who could put themselves or others  in danger.  

The "red flag" bill passed in the Senate yesterday and goes  to the Governor after a final edit.
