It appears that the state is another step closer to a Sales Tax Holiday this summer.
The Massachusetts House has passed a measure that would kick in August 11th and 12.
As part of the Grand Bargain Bill that was signed into law by the Governor there was a Sales Tax Holiday on a permanent basis but it did not kick in until next year.
Now that Senate is expected to pass the measure and the Governor would then sign it.
The holiday is used as a Summer Incentive to shop.
