The state Senate has delivered records from its investigation into former Senate President Stan Rosenberg's husband to a federal grand jury.
Senate attorneys revealed the grand jury's existence in filings with the state for a separate criminal case against Bryon Hefner.
What is unknown right know is whether the investigation is continuing.
Hefner is facing state charges accusing him of sexual assault and other offenses.
Rosenberg, an Amherst Democrat, resigned earlier this year.
