State Police Looking For Driver Who Hit And Dragged Trooper

WEBSTER, MA (WBZ-AM) -- Massachusetts State Police are looking for a SUV and driver after hitting an dragging a Trooper in Webster on Friday.

The incident occurred around 12:25 p.m. on Chase Avenue during a motor vehicle stop The trooper, assigned to the Strubridge Barracks, was dragged a short distance as the driver fled.

He was taken to UMass-Lakeside Hospital in Worcester with injuries believed to be non-life threatening.

The driver a 27-year-old male and a passenger, a 40-year-old female are both believed to have warrants.

Police say they were last seen in a green 2008 Honda Pilot with Massachusetts license 9CK G50

Anyone who sees the vehicle or has any information is asked to call 9-1-1.
